Around 50,000 SHG members took part in the celebration of “All India Co-operation Week” at Bantwal on 14th November 2003 in uniform dress code to show their unity and equality. Thousands of SHG members participated Udupi Co-operative Celebration programme on 20th November 2003 in Navodaya Uniform.
Provided number of free training programmes for SHG members on information and counseling on Self employment training.
State Level Exhibition Cum Marketing fair ‘Nava kundotsava-2005’ and 2007 at Kundapura of Udupi Dist and also ‘Kudlotsava 2006’ at Mangalore. This helped marketing the product of Navodaya Self Help Groups and other SHG/Sri Shakthi Groups.
A free Health Check up camp was organized at Karkal on 27.11.2005 which was benefited by more than 8,000 peoples. Many poor people suffering from dreaded diseases like Cancer, Cardiac and Kidney problems etc. are given financial support.
Grand Rural Sports and Cultural event was organized on 25.02.2006 at Eedu in Karkala Taluk with a view to promote and preserve the rural sports and folk culture.
To built confidence and understanding among the members of SHGs Taluk level Conference were held at different Taluks of D.K, Udupi, Utttar Kannada, Shimoga, Chikmangaluru and Dhavanagere Dist of Karnataka State .
In the year 2012-13, 2013-14 & 2014-15 scholarships had been given to 1000 poor and needy meritorious students of D.K and Udupi Dists on the eve of ‘Centenary Celebration of co-operative movement’.
On 6.04.2006 Navodaya Self Help Group was inaugurated at Hosanagar of Shimoga Dist. Thus NSHG stepped into Shimoga Dists.
Kudlostava-2006 was inaugurated at Karavali Utsav Ground, Mangalore which was a grand successful fair of 45 days. Free stall facility was provided to NSHG and other SHG groups to encourage marketing for their products. During this programme 17 outstanding personalities from various walks of life were honoured and felicitated by NGVC Trust. The personalities were selected for the extraordinary achievements in the field of arts, sports, medicine, education, social service, Freedom fight & literature etc.
‘Nava Kundotsava-2007’ was inaugurated on 06.04.2007 at Gandhi Maidhan Kundapur to facilitate markets for products of the SHG groups.
